Happy Halloween!

Hope you all had a great Halloween, we did. As you know, this is the night of the year we get to go out. From dusk till dawn we are no longer bound to this building. We also get to see old friends that cross back over for the night. All in all it was a great night, our only regret is that we didn’t know where all the Granite Refugees lived, or we would have come by and visited.

01

We waited in the front hall for the sun to set, when we would be able to leave and go out into the night.

02 Finally the time came, and under the cover of darkness we were set free for these few hours of Eallra Hālgena ǣfen, All Hallows’ Eve.

03

First place we wanted to go visit was this one. Talk about scary, the things that go on in there should make every taxpayer’s skin crawl.

04 We visited the superintendant’s office. Mixed a few things up and left a puddle of ectoplasm on his chair.

05 Look ma, we’re E.T.

06 Of course we had to visit the Haunted Old Mill down in Cottonwood. Saw a LOT of old friends there, that’s where we have the annual Halloween Dance. Of course it was a lot more fun back before it was abandoned by the haunted house people, but we still enjoyed ourselves.

07Especially when these crazy live people came creeping around the property. We followed them around as they looked for a way through the fence. We did the whole hands-on-shoulder, howling, moaning and icy cold finger to the throat thing on them, but they were die-hards. They didn’t leave until the cop on the hill flashed his spotlight on them and told them they were tresspassing. Killjoy cop. We didn’t even have a chance to see if our “A” game would work on them.

08Then we went up to the Salt Lake City cemetery and met with a couple old friends, Sid and Adele.

09Our final stop was to visit Capt. Janeway.
(Just kidding, we know Star Trek isn’t real)

We did get a chance to drop by the Art teacher’s house (we remembered his address from when you guys met there to pass out fliers for the Foods teacher’s campaign.) We also made it by a few other of your houses, addresses that we heard over the years. Maybe you felt our presence? We cruised the U student housing looking for the Music teacher, we knew she lived there, but not exactly where.

We hope you all had a great and eventful Halloween, we sure did. See you next year.
